How this works:

On Spot Service:

At NY Redeemable there is generally no line. The consumer simply notifies a clerk that you have containers to recycle and someone comes outside to count and take them away. You are then given cash for the NY redemption value. Please have all bottles and cans completely empty (no fluids in bottle).

Drop Off:

Come to our facility at 499 Lawrence Road, Kings Park, NY 11754 and we will take your NY returnable’s from you and will sort and count them for you.  Your account will be credited @ 5 cents per returnable item. Come back the same day and receive your cash. No waiting and no handling of dirty returnable’s.

 Warning: Persons tendering for redemption containers on which a deposit was never paid in this state may be subject to a civil penalty of up to one hundred dollars per container or up to twenty-five thousand dollars for each such tender of containers
